So, It's Valentine's Day. The famous day of love also happens to be my birthday! Scott's birthday was last week and we celebrate birthday week, so I feel like the month of February has been just one long party. We had hoped to go to California and Vegas this weekend, hit up Disneyland and the family, but the weather said, " Not only am I going to rain on your parade, I'm going to snow on it."
Actually being here in Utah isn't too bad. Scott and I have a day planned of movies and eating out for lunch ( since I dont want to wait 3 hours to eat any where; gotta love Provo the date capital of the world)

Anyways, here are 25 things that are wonderful in my life in honor of the big day:
1. My husband: I've know Scott going on 7 years now and each day gets better. No one makes me laugh as hard as he does and I'm so glad he's a part of my life.
2. My family- on both sides! I love my parents and sisters. I had so much fun with them this Christmas it was hard coming back to the frozen tundra of Utah. My in-laws are great too. I hear people complain about theirs but I couldn't have asked for better.
3. My job- teachers out there, I don't know how you work a full day! I work 1/2 time teaching PE and have a blast, love getting home by 1:00
4. My sisters- took us a while to truly be friends but they are my best friends. I love them so much. I love that we used to make routines on the trampoline together and play dress ups and I admire each one of them. They are each so talented.
5.My testimony-enough said

The next 20 will just be memorable moments from my life, just trip down memory lane.
6. Having Wendy trick me into cracking my head open, then telling Mom and Dad I fell: also the time she made me eat a flower, almost killed me with baby powder and got me stuck in the fold up couch bed- thanks sis for the good times
7. Thinking my cat Velcro was part bob-cat. He was my buddy, I even tried put up a sign in our front yard for people to pet him for .10 cents. He also walked me and Wendy to school and would be there on the corner when school was out to walk us home. Not a cat person, but this cat was special.
8. Life guarding every summer with my best friend also named Kristine. Buying floaties and intertubes with Sponge Bob on them and wondering why my boss was mad when I wanted to wear them while I taught lessons.
9. Geting into a fight with my sister during the Nutcracker and then being grounded to eachother. We had to sleep in the same room, sit by eachother in the car and at dinner and had to play together. Hated it at the time but my Mom new what she was doing.
10. My mom "singing in the rain" when we were having a bad day
11. Daddy daughter dates, and hearing my dad be the loudest one cheering at my soccer games. (I would ask him to be quiet but secretly loved it)
12. Friday night pizza and movie night at the Rowleys. So much fun
13. Girls camp with Kylie every year. We tried to lure squirrels into our tent cause they were cute, had squeeze it parties, and scared campers to death with our Zebra masks.
14. Having Angela come stay with me in the dorms. At one point I went to go smack her and Scott stepped in between and I knocked out his contact. He taught me a good lesson: be kind to sisters or bad things happen
15. Putting Kaipos bed on the roof and making the Police Beat at BYU
16. Getting in a bad car wreck in Mexico with Kristi and thinking I was going to die or get arrested by the Mexican police and not knowing what was worse
17. Scott and I playing airsoft in an apartment and having a blast, then realizing we put about 200 little tiny holes in the blinds. OOPS
18. Being a runner for byu. That meant I took attendance and babysat BYU football players and other athletes. The job was passed to me by Kylie, then I passed it to my husband and then he passed it to his friends. There are no more "runners" at BYU. RIP awesome job
19. Working at Hot Dog on Stick at a teenager and LOVING it. Loved the outfit, loved the food, loved who I worked with ( friends from school, Wendy, Tenille, Julie etc). I also loved working at Campus Craft and Flroal.
20. Playing with cousins as kids. Hiding in eachothers cars and trying to sneak over to cousins houses after they were leaving. Catcing wasps in the backyard and just being eachothers friends.
21. Camping with my family in Zions or the beach. Also our hmwk to play games together when we got back so we could learn to play games without fighting
22. Having my mom call everyday and tell me she thinks the dog is dead
23. Hannah and Paige and just all the funny stuff they say.
24. When I confessed to Scott that I wanted to be a photographer and he said great and bought me a camera not too long after. He is always so supportive. (Unless I am trying to get him to watch Mama Mia again)
25. The day I got married. Perfect, in everyway. No stress, just happiness. ( If you know me the no stress and no worries is a big deal)

So many more memories came flooding back while I did this. I have had a lot of fun in the last 25 years, can't wait to have even more fun in the next 25!
