Me and Marty.. taken by the wonderful Aria... I had so much fun with her taking pictures of Marty. This is when he was 2 weeks old. He is already so much bigger! Below is Marty 5 weeks
Let me attempt to catch you up with the happenings of our little family. I am going stir crazy because the doctor advised us not to go out to public places for at least 2 months to help reduce the chances of getting sick or the dreaded swine. This translates to me creating a lot of mini photo shoots with Marty and you just might get a phone call from me to talk about nothing in the middle of the day ( i am starving for adult conversation that does not relate to diapers or breastfeeding). The weather has been nice so we read books out on the lawn the other day but the forecast predicts snow tomorrow so no more walks or hanging out outdoors.
I am attempting to eat healthy and diet for really the first time in my life. Thanks to tips from my loving (and very thin) mother I have lost 35lbs since giving birth. Thats great some of you might be saying, but I have 15lbs to go to get back to my pre preggo weight which was over weight to begin with and then another 20 to get back to what I was when I got married and then another 10 to get to what I want to be at. ( yes if you did the math I gained 50lbs while pregnant and yes I am attempting to loose the total of an olsen twin or nicole richie) Whats a blog if you cant be honest? So... wish me luck and I will keep you posted on the transformation. I already feel much better just because I can see my ankles again. Swelling while being pregnant was not so fun.
The above picture I think is my favorite so far. Scott let me take a nap while him and Marty hung out. I woke up and came out to this! Marty is sucking on Scotts finger just watching him so intently. Scott has been so busy with work, church callings and now taking a class. I am so glad Marty is such a good baby that he is ok just chillin out while dad studies.

This picture was me attempting to take Marty's picture before feeding him. Every single one had him eating his hands. Lesson learned. Feed the boy and then torture with camera.

So those are the happening here at our house... more to come some time.
PS... Christmas is coming,... I couldnt be more excited

WOW!

I LOVE having these eyes looking up at me everyday!
This little guy has been keeping me very busy but I have a ton of pictures to upload tonight! Grandma's ... stay tuned
