This is a post in response to a special request from Jeanette for us to post more and specifically to post regarding our new video game. We went to the nickle arcade a couple of weeks ago and played Gauntlet Legends. Kristine liked it, so I hesitantly decided to buy the game for our futuristic Nintendo 64. We've been playing non-stop since. Kristine is currently a level 50 Valkarie and I am a level 60-something Menatour. I have no idea how to spell either of those things, but the game is fun. I have pictures but can't figure out how to get them from the camera to the computer.
We also went to IKEA today. That was pretty cool. We ate Swedish meatballs and macaroni, which was good. I've decided that we want a queen size bunk bed with the bed on top and one of those chucky cheese ball pits underneith, I think it will work out really nicely.
We also bought this weird Swedish back stretching thing. It's kind of weird but really cool too. You have to sit on the ground and tie these things to your wrists and ankles, then this machine slowly tightens them so you're like getting pulled apart. It hurts a bit, but it's a nice stretch for the most part. They sell attachments that are supposed to help with your pain threshhold, like a "tac-bed" which is esentially a bed of nails that you lay on while the thing stretches you, but I think that would be way to painful. The stretching thing seems bad enough. . . I scanned in one of the warnings from the instruction booklet.

IKEA products are so cool.

This this goes along the lines of pulling a car with your teeth and kissing venomous snakes. Leave it to IKEA
That's a pretty funny warning. Love it. -confession - never been to ikea... -julie
Tell Julie that she MUST go to IKEA!!!! What could be better? You get meatballs, ice cream, tables, couches, and CD holders all in the same place!!!
That's hilarious! When did IKEA start selling torture products? I'll have to pick some up for my new torture room in the basement.
That is really funny! I too love Ikea. They have way cool toddler plates and bowls. I have no idea what Guantlet Legends is! I'm old!
It's very cool that Scott did a post.
I miss you and all of the "Young Women". It is so weird to watch you all grow up. That makes me old too because that is what people used to say to us! Now I'm saying it to a new generation. Yeesh!
I am glad that you put us on your link list because Leisa "Laney" Waldron found me from your list and now I can spy on her and Kylie!
I was laughing so hard at your Tide post. My affair with a smell is the baby wash that is lavender and chamomile. I still bath my almost 4 year old in it and after his bath I hold him and sniff his hair a bunch. Good thing he is a cuddler but sometimes he says, "Geez mom, stop putting your nose in my hair!"
I am still waiting for your Thai soup recipe! :)
Keep up the good work being a happy newleywed! The world sure needs more of actually happy and married couples!
Call me next time you are in MoVal. We can hang and I'll commission you to do a photo shoot of my two gorgeous boys.
