Caught in the Act!

Today I came home from a long day of work, tucked my boy in bed and then sat down at the computer to open up some files to start editing. I came across these 2 photos of my little man. I was shooting senior photos on this beautiful fall day and my husband, Scott, and little boy Marty stopped by to say hi and play in the leaves where we were shooting. I have my camera in my hand so often that when he see’s me grab it he comes running over and says, “Cheese!” I couldn’t help but snap a few of him between my senior’s outfit changes. Don’t let that cute smile fool you, he is all mischief!

Last Week

Everyone is now healthy. Last week was a crazy one. We had a bridal show on Saturday up at the Grand America in Salt Lake but I also had booked a wedding on the same day so Scott manned the booth while I went out shooting. Scott also got rear ended last Tuesday. He was at a red light and the guy behind him fell asleep at the wheel and ran into him. Scott has been going to a chiropractor for his back but is still hurting quite a bit. One of his favorite things to do is attach the electrode thing the doctor gave him to his arm and watch his fingers go crazy as the volts go through him.
Erin was shooting with me on Saturday and got sick. We stopped by the bridal show to help Scott out for a bit. He went to get Cokes and paid $2.50 for an 8 oz aluminum bottle of Coke, two of them actually, so $5. Those hotels will rip you off. We booked some stuff at the show, so that was good even though Scott made a girl and her mom cry, but we won't go into details on that other than to say he didn't do anything mean, just struck a chord with them and it pulled on their heart strings.
Scott is taking over all of my SEO for Lucky Lime Photography, which means "I" (Scott really) will be a much more active facebooker and blogger, at least that's the hope.
Marty continues to be ridiculous. He likes to greet Scott with a hug and a prompt "gonk gonk" (honk honk) on the nose, he thinks that "mommy" means "up", and believes that everything that comes out of a microwave is called a bottle.
