To those who may have felt my last post was a little braggish,

Today I did nothing before 12:00

... and my house is messy

All before 12:00

Yesterday, while I didn't get out of my pj's until 2:00 I was able to
keep this little guy smiling Make heart shaped breakfast bites to freeze for the week ( hashbrown bottoms, eggs cheese and bacon on top...yumm)

Actually eat breakfast...

Make 5 min Artisan Bread ( yes, really only took 5 min and I don'y have a mixer or a bread machine)

And make dinner for tonight ( Spaghetti a la Philly- loved it) and froze half for next week.

All before Noon!

You cook and then freeze half for later in the month. I love it so far.

If only all days felt this productive. Wish me luck I can be productive today instead of stalling cleaning my house!

These are a little late but here is an update on our little man...

height- 25.5 in 69th percentile
weight- 15.4lbs 58th percentile
and 56th percentile in head size

Last thing to update is info about his baby blessing and Presidents day festivities. I am getting there I promise but I decided to start spring cleaning and bit off a little more than I can chew.

Wow so much to catch up. I guess I will start with the most recent and work my way backwards. Some of you may know that my birthday is on Valentines Day and I have a birthmark shaped like a heart! Totally Cupid approved. Anyways, I love having my birthday then because it usually falls around presidents day weekend and that usually translates to lots of fun. So our fun filled weekend started with the Annual MahJong Tournament. I won the trophy the first year I ever played but have had horrible luck ever since. It gets quite competitive for the giant Red Dragon trophy... this year was no different. Lady Luck and I are no longer friends. I am sure it's cause I forgot to send a thankyou note for her help 4 years ago.
For those who dont know Mahjong is a tile game played in China and we play with Scotts extended family every Chinese New YEar. WE kick off the day with eggrolls, wantons and crab rangoon and always have Chinese Chiken salad and TONS of treats. Then the tournament begins. We were so happy to have Scott's parents in town for the festivities.

Oh My

So the maintenance guy just came over to change the filter in our furnace. I have been cleaning the house all morning and was still in my sweats but didn't care. We had a lovely chat for about 10 min and I noticed he wasn't making eye contact. He left and and all was well, or so I thought.
I was just sitting there thinking how proud I was that I didn't get embarrassed I was in sweats and no makeup at 3 in the afternoon and then I looked down to see that left out from doing laundry my bra was sprawled across the rocking chair for display.
I wasn't embarrassed but am now realizing I should have been!

Can you get your whole house clean? I feel like I can have an immaculate kitchen and front room but then my bedroom is a mess, or the bedrooms looks great but the kitchen is dirty. It's like cause and affect gone very wrong. I rarely have all my ducks in a row

Too Old?

I turn 26 at the end of this week, am I too old for a pair of Vans slide-ons? I have wishfull thinking that spring is around the corner and a pair of gray vans at the mall have been calling my name...
