39 weeks and can I just say... Are we there yet?

I'm being brave and posting a picture of my bare belly. Just when I thought it couldn't get any bigger it did... then the next week it did again... and again. All things considered I have decided to embrace the largeness of the belly and just be so happy that belly=baby in just about a week! Wahoo
SO... I am swollen. My feet only fit in my reef sandals if I put them on first thing in the morning, they are too big by the time I get home! My right hand has been numb and tingly going on 3 weeks now and I would like to blame my double chin on the swelling, but I think that might be the midnight bowls of cereal instead... Let me just tell you the positive things I love about being pregnant:
1. People are so nice
2. I have an excuse to nap
3. If my house is not in perfect order I don't feel that guilty. I like it clean, but if I can't bend down to pick something up, I am ok with waiting until Scott gets home to bend down and pick it up... no guilt attached
4. My students at work have been ANGELS! So willing to help with equipment and understanding I can't move around that much
5. I love feeling so close to the little guy. I talk to him in my head (as if he can hear me haha)

I can't wait to meet him. I can't wait to not be pregnant too! There is a full moon this weekend and a temperature change this week so maybe the barametric pressure will be in my favor. I'm off to do some jumping jacks to encourage jr.'s arrival. Hopefully next post will be of just him!

Yay! I'll be honest, my jaw dropped a little, just a little though. That belly is awesome! I was thinking about you guys the other day and realized that any day now we could hear that little baby McNairy or baby Scott or baby Lou or baby Gregg or baby whatever he looks like and whatever we're calling him is here! :)

You are almost there! You look great pregnant! I know how you feel with the numbing hands and swelling everywhere. It will go away shortly after you give birth. I can't wait to see pictures of your little boy!

the best part will be seeing your feet a couple days after birth and exclaiming "THERE you are feet!!" you'll think your feet are SOOOOOO skinny. and when you no longer have to shake out your hands to make the tinglies go away? that's awesome.
we'll be up there soon, so we can't wait to see junior too!
